POSTPILOT TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PostPilot's services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PostPilot provides a SaaS platform that assists users in creating, scheduling, and managing content for LinkedIn profiles and pages through authorized API integrations.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age

• Have authority to enter binding agreements

• Maintain accurate account information

• Comply with all applicable laws

4. LinkedIn API Usage & Compliance

4.1 Authorization

All LinkedIn integrations utilize LinkedIn's official OAuth 2.0 implementation. Users must explicitly grant permission through LinkedIn's authorization flow.

4.2 Data Access

We request only the following minimum permissions:

• r_liteprofile (basic profile information)

• w_member_social (create posts)

• rw_organization_admin (manage company pages)

4.3 Data Handling

• User data is retained for no more than 30 days after account termination

• We do not store LinkedIn login credentials

• No scraping or unauthorized data collection occurs

4.4 Developer Use of API Data

PostLodge only uses LinkedIn API data for the purpose of enabling users to schedule and manage content. We do not use this data for analytics, profiling, or any secondary use beyond the explicitly requested functionality.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam or bulk messaging

• Attempt to circumvent LinkedIn's API limitations

• Reverse engineer or misuse our platform

• Violate LinkedIn's User Agreement or Community Policies

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Content

All platform code, designs, and trademarks are owned by PostPilot.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content created through our Service. By using PostPilot, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely for providing the Service.

7. Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

• Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis

• You may cancel at any time through account settings

• No refunds are provided except as required by law

8. Service Availability

While we strive for maximum uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to:

• Scheduled maintenance

• Third-party API limitations

• Force majeure events

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• THE SERVICE WILL MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS

• RESULTS WILL BE ERROR-FREE

• LINKEDIN'S API WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL POSTPILOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU DURING THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately

• You remain liable for any outstanding payments

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Data Privacy & Security

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data, including any data accessed through LinkedIn’s API. We implement reasonable security measures including encryption, access controls, and regular reviews.
